Tai Chi originated 2,000 years ago in China as a soft martial art for the purpose of self-defense. Tai Chi has evolved into contemporary system of gentle physical exercise. Tai chi offers physical and mental benefits: stress reduction, increased flexibility, improved muscle strength, increased stamina and agility, and increased feelings of well-being.
